Mercia
Sound/FM's Old and Newly Refurbished Offices
This
first photograph (taken on Dave Simms' last day) is how Mercia's
presentation office originally looked when the station first
opened.
In late 1989 the offices and newsroom etc. were completely gutted,
and new offices were built. The following three photographs
show this newly refurbished area, they were taken on December
27th 1989 when Mercia were broadcasting the charity Goldrush
programme where the entire days programme came from the office
area (driven by a technical operator in the studio down stairs).
